Automatic Hangout Partner is the product of a married couple who want to explore and expand upon their creativity together. Steve Molter (guitarist/producer) and Emily Stewart (violinist/vocalist) create dreamy, textured songs with lush strings, celestial vocals, and acoustic and effected electric guitars.
Molter has released 21 albums, EPs, and singles with various musical projects, in addition to several remixes and collaborations with other artists. He has embarked on tours across the US and EU with his band, Beware of Safety, whose music has been featured in film and TV productions. Stewart is a multi-genre violinist with a classical foundation and has arranged and performed strings for projects ranging from R&B albums to children’s television. Her career as a violinist has ushered her all over North America, Europe, and Asia.
AutoHang has collaborated with artists including KAIROS Dance Theater in Boston, USA and performed on the intimate, digital concert series Rockwood Sessions based in Los Angeles, USA.
AutoHang are currently working on their debut material in their home of Bangkok, Thailand.
